Flitz ,I have detailed vehicles for 30 years flitz works great and can be used on gold or gold plating.works similar to semi chrome but the protection last longer on polished parts. Try some on your gold jewelry.remember to use microfiber towels.buy in the can instead of the tubes lasts for years and use spairingly
Really don't see a need for anything else. As long as chrome is clean and streak free, it's going to be "shiny". Hell, I've even used car wax on chrome in a pinch.
Eagle One Chrome polish, works very well. Only do it about twice during the riding season, takes quite a bit of time. I'd rather ride my bike than see my reflection on it.
Most any glass cleaner works, but I'm currently using some aerosol foaming glass cleaner that I got at Walmart, it's in a white can with a baby-blue cap, I can get the brand name if anyone's really interested.
As much as it pained me, because he was a major dufus, I actually asked my former supervisor what he used because the chrome on his bike(SG, that shoudl tell you something) always had the show-chrome shine.
I am not a fan of chrome, but since I can afford right now to replace it, I might as well make it look nice. Got a can of Eagle One Never Dull. It's a cotton wadding type of stuff. Not all that happy with it.
A local shop has a custom polish called Just 2 Easy. Works on all metals very similar to simichrome only liquid.
