Unless your going to up the comp. ratio, I'd put the 48's in and call it done.

They work as described via S&S, but do want 10-10.2 cr to show their teeth.
We are currently doing a build with those in an 2003 Dyna.

take a look at the wood TW5-6 for torque down low.

I recently had a set of S&S 570s installed in my bike, I have a 107 build with Rev Performance jugs, I'm still breaking the build in, but so far I like the cam. I don't know when I'll have it dynoed to show exact numbers but the cam seems to start pulling around 2.7-2.8k, and I don't know where it stops yet.

Yep, that'll also get-r-done, but 10.0 cr is needed.

How about the andrews 54? May use a cometic .03 gasket.

I think you would be pretty happy with the 54's and a little more compression. They will pull right up to 6000.

I agree. Gotta add some cylinder pressure to get the most out of them.
Those 48's look better all the time. Pretty cheap too from Direct Harley Parts.
