Spoke Tami today, she was a great help and gave me some measurements to try. I'm 5'11" 32" inseam. I'm riding a stock 2012 RGC seat but also have a 2012 ultra seat for the wife on long rides. based on that info she suggested the 13" shield. Great customer service, ordered shipped tomorrow 6-10 days from Cali to Newfoundland Canada.

I had a 14in factory shield on my 09 Glide and it was "ok", I replaced it with a 16in Cee Bailey's shield and again, just ok, didn't notice much difference in wind on that swap, which I thought was weird, and maybe I was getting air from under the bike, not over the windshield. Anyone know where I can rent a wind tunnel with that smoke that shows where the wind goes?
Anyway, new bike 2012 RGC, so I ordered the 14in WV, see how it goes.

Now I'm disappointed. I didn't receive the forum discount and I put right on their entry form how I heard about them!

Finally installed the 12" WV, light smoke. I love it. I can see over it and the wind just brushes the top of my hair. Finally got a winner.

Okay, although I somehow missed out on the forum discount I did receive my 14" WV shield. I didn't want to put it on until my XTrim arrived but my wife wasn't having that - so Saturday I installed the shield. For the record, and those reading who aren't sure what size shield to get, this one works perfectly. I'm only 5'9" w/ a 30" inseam. I'm not sure how the tall guys are getting away with shields this size and shorter. I can see perfectly over the top of this shield, and my wife is much happier now riding on the back. I've tried a couple of different sized of the KW shields (up to 12") and didn't like how they worked. I also got a lot of wind noise and roaring in my ears. This new 14" WV shield fixed all of that, eliminated a lot of the wind, and made it so that my wife and I both can hear the stock stereo much better. Just my .02, but for me this shield works well.

cee bailey vs. windvest
I currently have a 16" cee bailey and my wife gets a tremendous amout of buffetting, my friend has installed a 15" windvest and loves it, upon getting some measurements from him, it appears that the wind vest is almost 5" wider at top as the Cee baileys has the dips in it at the side/tops, when I'm riding and put my hand up this is were the wind is coming from and misses the side of my head and I believe is were the buffetting is coming from, I looking at ordering the windvest 15", by the way I'm 6'3", I also have noticed when riding some hills with the cee bailey i tend to look thru it some times that I hate. Also will the HD factory roadglide chrome windshield trim fit with the wind vest as it really dosn't fit with the CB????? any imput would be appreciated, as i'm going broke on windshields....

Hello...Tami from WindVest here!
Ours screens do not dip on the sides. There is more upright screen and the flip at the top redirects it away from your ears and head, creating a smooth airflow. The top of the screen should be about mouth level when you're sitting on your bike (looking over the top comfortably and getting wind protection as well). You can contact us directly to place an order. We do have a customer satisfaction guarantee, so if the size, color, etc. isn't working for you, it can be exchanged for something that will. The trim piece fits fine while using the WindVest screen.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Have a good day!

Like Tami from WindVest says:
The H-D Road Glide chrome windshield trim fits great with the WV shields!
