Many questions
All the comments on windshields seem to favor CeeBaileys , so I'm looking to replace my Harley 12" WindSplitter with one of your shields. However, I am a bit confused by all of the styles (shapes, sizes, models). I rarely get on the bike and do less than 100 miles. (I commute 53 miles each way from home.) So I am looking to limit the wind noise that I am currently suffering.
As for my specs, I'm just shy of 5'11" with avg torso and ride a 2011 RoadGlide Ultra (FLTRU). I am leaning toward the TRSSC 15" Euro opaque black color to better match the looks of the black bike.
Other than appearance, is there any difference between the euro & the dome of the TRSSC? Am I looking at the right size (went 15" vice 16" as I wanted darker)? But how does this compare to the 14" CeeGlide in wind management? Do both shields come with the famous CeeBailey install kit? And last but not least.... any sales/discounts going on? The sad thing is that I've waited too long to ask these and I know I won't get it in time for an early AM Friday departure to explore all teh backroads of West VA.

Thank you for choosing Cee Baileys. As for the shields go, TRSSC euro, dome and Cee Glide work the same for air management function beside the style itself. If you decide to go opaque black, go with a size smaller which will be 15". All the shields doesn't come with the CeeBaileys installation kit.
thanks again,

I have had the 15 in Euro & the 15 inch Cee Glide. The Euro was not the best combination for me & the passenger. She compliments the Cee Glide when riding with me. Cee Glide gives good clean air, stereo can be heard easily on the highway.
Kept it when I bought by newer road glide Ultra & installed it on this one as well.
6 ft 32 in inseam, Ultra seat.

lldsilver41,
We don't recommend these shields for 2 up because it would not give the passenger the best protection. We would recommend the 18" or 20" of the original design. This is the only shield that is most effective for the passenger. These shields Cee Glide and Euro are good for solo riders only.
thanks,

Received my 15" TRSSC Euro & improved wellnut kit. what a difference. My radio sounds much better, wind noise is much less, and I am getting more "great looking shield" comments than I ever did with the 12" Harley Windsplitter! The well nuts are top notch as well. Very happy!

Best wind protection
I had ordered a 16 in Cee glide. I am 6'2" tall, although it was a great improvement over stock, I still had wind noise and the comfort level was not there. I do a lot of hwy riding, so I bought a Cee Bailey's 18 inch original..much much much better wind protection, eliminated wind noise, passenger is comfortable, and I still see over top of windshield. It's a matter of style vs function. I want comfort, so windshield height and width determine how much comfort the rider has. Aero dynamics can only do so much, height is important.
If you want comfort and no noise, go with appropriate height on Cee Bailey's original. I bought the best touring bike made to tour, not ride up and down the street looking cool. It is a personal choice, you have to decide what is right for you. Everybody has an opinion, but in the end, it is only yours that matters for. You. (You have picked the right company, Cee Baileys, makes a quality product and they care that you are satisfied with your purchase.)
