Default Front fender

I need a new front fender - is this best just to order it from my dealer and have it painted by a local auto painting shop?

I had my front fender replaced under factory warranty due to paint chipping off it. You can order it color matched but i found out when mine was done theyre about $900. Thank god for warranties. You may want to consider aftermarket. How come you need to replace it?

HOLY CRAP! I got in a hurry to lower the bike off the jack and didn't fully check around the bike and lowered it onto a cinder block - caved in the the lower left corner. so where do i find an aftermarket fender or even a used one?

Search the classifieds here. Lots of guys are changing to large diameter front wheels and are going with the wrapped front fenders.

Between here, eBay, and other forums, I see stock fenders up for sale all the time. Depending on condition, usually around $200 - $300.

Thanks for all the input. It helps to take the sting out such a dumba$$ move on my part.
