Under bag plate mount...FINALLY!
Well, since I decided I wasn't going the whole mile at this time with bags and fender, I wanted a way to clean the rear up until I do (if at all now).
Since running a 2-1 leaves the left side open, I patiently waited for Greg at Intermountain Cycle to recoup from an injury that had him laid up for several months. He shot me an email a few weeks ago saying new brackets were done and ready to be shipped. His bracket utilizes the exhaust hanger and the saddlebag support rails/rear fender bolts. It's a nice piece for sure!
I ordered a black led plate frame as well and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Cutting the hoop and moving the plate makes such a difference!!

I like it. It is an asymmetrical balance (is that an oxymoron) between the pipe and the plate. (great color choice for a bike, by the way ). Are there any drag issues when leaning left? It solves my biggest reason not to go with a 2 into 1. Just curious, what did that run, and how much work to relocate the lighting circuit?
Since I don't have a CB, I went for a similar "balance" between the flag and the antenna on my tour pack.

The whole deal ran me about $100. The bracket was right around 55 and the led plate (which is aluminum not plastic) was 30. I had really no work at all with the lighting since I don't use the lighting/turn/brake for my tour pak. I tapped into those wire which are between the frame and rear fender on the left side of bike (runs with antennae) I haven't drug it yet, but I didn't get much of a ride in today. I did lean pretty good on a few slow corners in my neighborhood where I have scraped my board and it didn't touch (my bike is also lowered 2" in rear?
Not Yaffe bars...these were custom built by Joe at Vindikta. A small shop out of Cali.

Just checked out their website. I see your Road Glide is pictured on there site ( I will give you a PM about the bar choice so I'm not to hijacking the original plate posting)
