Default EZ-Pass Blended in

I'm sure this has been done but thought I'd share anyway. Carrying the EZ-pass in a pocket wasnt working for me (that's if I remembered it) With it being bright white and no good place to mount it (tried in the glove box) I painted it black and mounted it to the fairing between the windshield.

EZ pass operations take a picture of every car/bike that goes through the toll
It matches your tag to account.
Wheter you have the clicker with you or not, you are charged
So instead of trying to remember to bring it, just make sure your tag is listed and go without it. I have been doing this for 2 years since I found this out.
never a violation
Also when you have out of state visitors, list them on your account and they can blow the tolls with you instead of waiting for each other after the toll
I hVE LISTED FRIENDS VISITING fL AND i HAVE BEEN LISTED ON A FIRNEDS IN ca.
aLSO DO NOT LIST THE SAME TAG NUMBER ON MORE THAN 1 CLICKER, wHEN THE CAMERA SEES THE TAG IT WILL CHARGE both ACCOUNTS.

Yep, this works like a champ! I've been doing this for awhile too.

I wish it were like that here in NY because it would free up alot of traffic because of it, but since the machines that were purchased by NY state are not high speed pass through you must have your tag with you regardless if you have registered your tags with them. Don't get me wrong you should register your tags with ez-pass to the tag that only saves you in cases where there is no gate arm and you went too fast through it for machine to read so they found to your plate. Otherwise since I only have one bike and avoid theft of my tag I Velcro my tag to the inside top of my inner fairing and I never have to worry about it again until 5 years later when you should replace it with a new one for internal battery power. The units battery looses it's strength around that time. I've been putting my tag there since my 06' EGU.

Its complicated but someday they will hook ALL the states together so 1 clicker will work anywhere.
I think someone will soon figure out uow to use your cell phone to replace it too

BTW "tag" is a license plate here , no prob

I hear ya unfortunately here in the big apple they call them both tags and plates for the tin pieces of metal on autos and motorcycles but Ez-pass calls them tags. Don't ask me why but they do. They also have a tag that mounts on your front bumper onto your tags/plates as well.

In Mass, you are only allowed to do this twice per month, then they start charging you per picture/toll crossing

I simply leave mine in the right hand glove box, system reads it every time. Haven't had to take it out once.

IS that true? I have two units with all three vehicles on each one, that way I didnt have to worry about whick one fits with which vehicles. If so I have been paying double for each toll.....and I thought I was saving some money

I have mine stuck to the inside of the saddle bag lid.
Out of the way and works every time.
