if you want comfort and long distance riding :Look no further than the cop seat.
As far as posin and looking kewl I have the Corbin solo
As a matter of fact I have 100k miles in that seat and 5 more Corbins for other bikes I have.... did I mention I have a lot of seats ??? at least a dozen anyway
Mustang never fit me well, I always thought they were too soft (cushy).
Soft seats start hurting on long rides , to me anyway
Never had the plea$ure of a DG seat
Hey like they say , there's one for everyone out there

Funny you said that - I was thinking about a cop seat last night. Do you know what is involved with that? - bolt on brackets, or is it an entirely different setup? Where would you get a cop seat?
Thanks

Just an update. I sent C&C and DG emails early last week. Both companies got back to me that day asking a few questions. I answered both. One company got back to me, and asked a ton more questions. The other company never responded. After numerous emails and phone conversations with company #1, I ordered their seat. Granted, I was not ordering an expensive seat - as basic as they come actually, but I was treated like an old friend. I can't wait for delivery, as my next step will be picking out a new windscreen. BTW, company #2 still hasn't gotten back to me.
PS - THEY REALLY HATE IT when you forget to mention you are a forum member, and then call up a week later asking for a refund for your forum discount. I was asked to spread the word that UNLESS YOU ASK FOR THE 10% DISCOUNT AT TIME OF ORDER, THEY WILL NO LONGER GIVE A POST ORDER DISCOUNT. Can't say I blame them.
PPS - I will post pic upon delivery of new seat.
Thanks for all your help, guys.

I was running a Lepera Villian saddle and liked it so well that I bought the Solo version when I got my solo mounted tour pack. Nice seat, very comfortable. Find it here: http://lepera.com/seat_pgs/v3_Tourin...l.php?SEATID=4

Yeah - nice seat. I saw that on the site, only they don't make 'em for my "old" bike. Jeez, I just bought the thing in '05, and already it's an antique.
