Recieved mine yesterday!!! The only thing that will need to be addressed is that on my 12 RGU the saddlebag brackets at the rear do not have the mounting tab for the wrap around saddlebag bars, like in the pic of the proto-type being installed. The saddlebag supports are like the HD 90881-09A.

Fortunately I have a Kuryakyn trailer hitch and it has down supports that would be able to bolt to the wrap around saddlebag bars. I was able to use 3/8 x 1" bolts and nylock nuts along with a 3/8" spacer between the Kuryakyn bracket and the filler panel mounting tabs. Lucky me!!!

Pics of the rear saddlebag support bar that is stock and the Kuryakyn trailer hitch bracket and the final installed panels. I just wished the powder coater could have done a smoother mirror finish...the back side of the panels were shinier than the side showing, That's Ok since I will be repainting my bike this winter with red and black contrast.

Quality is by far excellent!!! 2 THUMBS UP for these!! Also only $65 plus shipping.

WOW, thank you for posting this to give me the update

The two people with bikes 09 and up in my reach both have the same mounting system, so I did not know that HD had two different styles

I will go to my local stealer and rent one of the new bikes with this different style of saddlebag mount to figure out a solution

Thank you again for letting me know and I am glad that you are happy with them

I am also trying to work a deal with a plasma rod provider to also make lighted versions of my panels as well

Mine just arrived and I have to say that the quality is excellent. Nice to have a great AMERICAN MADE product.

I just checked and they will fit my '11 RGU just fine since I have the saddlebag supports for the saddlebag guards. I will will check the stock saddlebag supports when I get home and find out if they have the two tabs that are needed.

I want to put them on tonight but already promised to wife to take her out on a date so it will have to wait until the weekend. Will post photos once done.

Only thing is I wish they were shinier. The power coating is a bit dull. I might paint them later.

I'd like a set for my '09 the bike is black Pearl so a light black or powder coated black would work. How do I order them?
