Just wondering when everyone says exhaust and tuner are you changing the whole piping and the efi module? what does that mean exactly?

Usually means replacing the headpipe with one that has no converter like fullsac or fuel moto. Replaceing the mufflers to something more free flowing. You can replace the efi module with a aftermarket unit like the Thundermax but usually it means adding a tuning module to remap your current ecm..Options like the TTs Mastertune, Power commander or Race tuner by harley

I removed the catalytic converters in my stock head pipe and that mad a big difference. Then I got my power vision and re-tuned it and it runs a lot cooler now. Heat is something that you have to just deal with on an air cooled engine though.

+1 on the catalytic convertor removal from the header...helps a lot...especially when you are stopped in traffic.

Default Cat Removal ?

Will removing the cat. converters & the remapping.

Will this void my warranty?

I only have 2600 miles on my 2012 RGU. I don't race around like I used to so I'm happy with the performance of the 103 ci.. I would like to keep it a little cooler and help to extend the life of my engine. I plan on keeping it for quite a while.

Depends. If your cd plyer konks out no but if you hole a piston yes. Also depends on the dealer. Some dealers will flag your warranty if they see you added a tuner others don't seem to care.

Ever since I went with the SE 254 cams, and dyno tuned, I'm running around 10 degrees cooler on my engine temp. I still get some of that heat on the right side just under the seat, and I'm thinking of adding that ugly deflector to see if that cures it..
