That, and the fact that they were designed under the same performance specs as the dashboard speaker from a '62 Cheby.........

HEY!!!!

I still own a '62 Chevy!

Of course, I have replaced the sound system, added an A/C system, upgraded from 6 Cyl to V-8, etc......

:-)

Hmmmm, I think them Rokker speakers are made by J&M correct? ...thought those speakers were supposed to sound really good, but per your thread, they don't huh? If this is the case, and you do switch to different speakers, what speakers (...obviously American made) will you be going with? Just tryin to get an idea of the best sounding system I can for my '07 RG when I decide to upgrade the audio system.

The Rokkers are great. The picture is of the OEM speakers that came in the bike. Sorry for the confusion. Also IIRC the Rokkers are american made.

I'd only add that, as a stereophile with a pretty decent tubed system in my house, it's a lot more about the specs and price point they were designed for rather than where they're made. There are some excellent in-home speakers coming out of China these days, along with the expected junk.
