Default HD Stage 4

I havent really noticed any posts on here regarding the Stage 4 kit for 103ci motors. Is it cause most just rebuild entire motor or what? Im wanting to do this when i get home from Afghanistan but wanted some opinions on it.

There are a couple of us on here with them. Mine is the one with the 260 cam, i think the new one is the 259e which is no longer "offroad use only."

My ¼ Mile Times. I'll run it again soon, i think i can run a faster ET with better launches.

I've got 10K miles on the build now. No maintenance issues (knock on wood) other than needing a rear tire now.

All though not having the stage IV , i think myself anyways you can get a far better build from some of our sponsors on here for a lot less money. And a bullet proof build is what will all want. There are some talented engine builders on here and most will answer any questions you throw out. Just my 2 cents

+1 on that. Hillside, Dragos, Fuelmoto, to name a few, will deliver a blueprint type engine kit, not production style specs. from off the shelf parts.

I have gotten quotes from a few of them and for the money i could go with a 120R. I can get the stage 4 from PCPain for pretty damn cheap and i do my work myself. I do not wanna spend another 7 or 8 grand on my bike just on the motor right now. Now if my motor was no good, i would consider it but right now it only has 6k on it.

The more you beef up the engine the greater the possibility for engine failure down the road IMO. The more HP you get the less you get in MPG so if you just want a nice bar hopper that will impress your friends then the stage IV is for you, if you want a good reliable touring bike that will give you thousands of miles of reliable fun you may want to stick with a stage II or stage III. I assumed you were talking top end performance parts because of the reference to the stage 4 kit. If your doing your own work the Fuel Moto top end 107 kit with stage II heads is about $2200. I'm not saying the Harley kit isn't cheaper, but $2200 is a far cry from the prices your quoting.

Does that 107 kit require you to split the cases?

I just looked at their kit, Now the question is....Why does the HD kit come with bigger throttle body, injectors and intake but yet they say the stock one on the 107 is sufficient? I like the idea of ported heads over stock but thats another grand with fuel moto.

If your good with a wrench, then a 107"er, with the cam/head combo suited for your wants needs, can be had VERY inexpensively, for the gain being established.
We can/do port-match your existing t/body.
