Default DHP, two thumbs up

Well I pulled the trigger today and ordered front and rear J&M Rokker speakers from DHP for my RGU. I shot them an email last night to make sure they were in stock first before placing my order and they got back to me right away to confirm. The reason I did this is because I'll be leaving Iraq and headed home in two weeks. Wanted to make sure that the speakers were there waiting on me. After reading every thread I could find on speakers I choose the J&M's for one reason in perticular. I had them in my last RoadGlide for close to six years and 30k miles. During that time I played them too loud, soaked them in the rain and with a pressure washer, and let them sit out in the hot sun of West Texas and Arizona. Through all that they always sounded great so I figured why mess with success. I didn't order the Rokker Amp just yet because I want to hear how the speakers sound without them. I'm sure I will most likely end up getting it though only because I can. LOL
Thanks again DHP.

Congratulations on coming home. Are you done there? Next time I'm on Angelo I'll give you a heads up. Maybe meet up for lunch and do a little ridin'. Be safe.

Yeah, I'm done here. This is my third trip in the last 4 years as a contractor. I've been here as a soldier too. Mama said when I come home that if i ever mention coming back again she's gonna burn my passport. Besides I've had my 2011 RGU since Oct '10 and have only been home to enjoy it a total of 5 months.

Installed my Rokkers today, sound awsome on the short trip that I took after I installed them but I'm already thinking I should have gotten the amp with it. Oh well as soon as I get back from my roadtrip I'll get it.

Well I just want everyone to know that I ordererd the 500w Rokker amp to go with the Rokker speakers I installed a few weeks ago. Some of you said to go ahead and cry once and order it all at once because your going to want the amp after installing the speakers. So for all you "I told you so's" out there, this Bud's for you....
