Default 1911 grips

Just had a guy over in GA make these for my .45. I think he did an outstanding job.

$80 for these in walnut. I believe he can create most anything you want, including a lot of military symbols. A good friend of mine just had him make some with the Army airborne insignia on them.

Here's his info which includes a web site.

Is that a satin finish on there or just stained?

I'm guessing a satin finish using some type of oil although I haven't asked him. Considering they are walnut, definitely not stained.
