Default Just shark bit

New Road Glide owner from Southwest Virginia posting here for the first time.
Great forum. Never much cared for the shark nose over the years. I don't know what happend, but in the past year I stopped vomiting when looking at the roadies. Took my FLHRC into the shop for some love from the HD techs at Black Bear HD in Wytheville, VA, and the salesperson thought I should take a spin on the Electra Glide. I didn't have anything else to do for a couple hours, so I did. Nice ride, but the seating position, hand position, etc. was all wrong on the the Electra Glide. And the fairing was up in my face. Took it back and told the salesperson my woes, and he suggested that bigger guys like me tend to like the Roadie. Of course, being the ugly offspring they are, the dealership didn't have one handy that I could ride. A couple weeks later, a brand new big blue pearl Road Glide Custom showed up from the MoCo and the the cute new saleslady gave me a call. So, I cruised on down and planted my big fat arse in the seat and pointed the shark's nose in the wind. Bone stock, the FLTRX was more comfortable than ANY motorcycle I had ever ridden before, so I took it home and BB-HD kept the king ~ and some more of my hard earned dollars. Three weeks and 3,000 miles later, it is still UGLY; but my blue shark is one great handling, comfortable motorcycle.
