Stopped by the dealer Friday the auction hauler picked up 4 bikes for the insurance company and hauled them away.
2 totaled for sure 2 could have gone either way. All deer strikes.
2 with helmets on waiting on new bikes in fair shape. Two without in a bit rougher shape and long recovery times.
Dealer asked that we find a different way to get new bikes.

All said and done I went from a totaled out Black 2011 RGU with a few mods and 33,000 miles on it to a 2013 RED RGU with about 2500 dollars more in mods to it.
When all the cash changed hands it cost me 2000 dollars.
The math adds up to a better than breakeven deal for me.
Still trying out the Demo windshield.
It pays to have good and proper insurance.

I love a happy ending. How's the physical recovery going? Any idea when you'll be back in the saddle?

I also had , let's say, "an event" on my 09 (CVO)/B RG, while there was NO structure damage the bill for painted (CVO) parts exceeded $ 10,000.
They replaced all with no problems, I would like to switch from Progressive due to the owner being a BIG liberal but will stay with them for a year or two longer.
