Default Difference between V&H pro pipe and pro pipe hi outputs

I would like to know if someone could tell me the difference between these two pipes? Sound and all. I was thinking for my current build the hi outputs. But I'd like to hear from others.

I had both on my bike. HO resulted in loss of power at low end. With my basic mods (intake, dyno tune with SE super tuner) the HO was wasted. Switched to pro pipe. Bike ran much better w/o a retune(less pinging, less backfire, faster/more power)

On my bike both sounded roughly the same. Deep burble with slightly higher bark when hitting it. Deep is good

As to looks. The HO is obviously stepped farther out so looks bigger from side. from back look the same. But no one noticed my swap so there you go. Be careful cleaning them. Easily marked/scuffed; mine were the black versions. I liked both pipes so depends on how far you are going with your engine. V&H later told me the HO for heavily modded engines/stock 120s. Wish I had done better research.

I was under the impression that the High Output was the slip on, while the V&H Pro Pipe is the 2-1 head pipe set up. So with the pro pipe you can put the HO slip-on on the back of it. Apparently I am ill informed, can you explain the difference between the components?

There are HO slip ons but I thought he was talking about the 2-1 HO and Pro pipes. I had both 2-1 systems. Will likely get the slip ons for the new bike. I really like V&H.
