welcome from the other side of the river. I have a '92 sportster that I am making a cafe bike and an '09 road glide. don't ask why, just do it!

'86' the Sportie and buy your new Roadie now. Once you have the Roadie you won't ride the sportie much anyway so trade it. The interest rates will never be better - just shop around for a good rate which isn't always at the dealer. Good luck in whatever you decide to do, and welcome from Maine.
