Bike"s been in shop going on 3 weeks.
I took the bike in to the dealer for a few warranty items.
1 was the trans noise (brg.)
Question is how long should I wait till I start bitching about how long I have to
wait because of the MoCo's attempted shortcut on this common problem.

Two weeks ago, I'd be calling on a daily basis. This is the slow season for cripes sake.

+1. Theres really no reason why it should take that long. Did you talk to them and ask what the hold up is?

Keep calling but be civil. Also call customer service to get their attention on this matter as well. Mine was in the shop for over 3 months and it was all insurance work. They had a check in hand in 1 week.

Mine wouldn't be in the shop for 3 weeks, I'd take it home and fix it myself, then send customer service a bill for warranty reimbursement.
That's ridiculous, would you put up with your car or truck being locked up 3 weeks at the dealership for a warranty repair?? I doubt it.

Some states if you bought it new and it is in the shop for over 30 days, it could be considered a Lemon, and they could be pushed to take the bike back.

I would have been bitchin long ago as well but maybe you can hit them up for a loaner and take out your frustrations on it? You know, drive it like a rental

Have they told you anything about your bike? A good service department will keep you in the loop. Sounds like you should call them to see what is going on.

Better look at where the op is from. This is prime riding season in AZ.

What is the repair? Are they waiting on parts? Anything on backorder? All information they should have supplied to you.
