Oil Bud Cooling

Well I have done a search with no results. Just curious if anyone here is using one of these oil coolers or if anyone has tried one & didn't like it?
Very pricey, but if they work as well as claimed it maybe a good investment.

Yes it has the small factory oil cooler, just looking for something better. I do alot of mountian riding usually two up with the wife, looking around at slower speeds eliminating alot of air flow. I am around 285-295 & with her & crap in the bags the bike is packing a load Lol.

I have one on my 117" triked Roadglide. The Oil Bud cooler works!!! It is as tough as they claim and will reduce your engine temps. I recommend it to anyone who wants a tough oil cooler that does cool your engine oil temps

I put one on my 04 bagger with a built 107" and it worked as advertised . Well built,easy to install and really made well. A little pricy but well worth it.

Nice to hear some good reviews, Thanks. I have decided it will be on my list to do this winter along with a Baker +1.5 oil pan I think will be a major improvement.

I have the Jagg 10 row Fan Assisted and it does a great job. my bike cruises 1 or 2 up at 75-80 mph and temps range from 190- 205, even in the hot summer months. I think my temps dropped 25 degrees when I added the Jagg. Worth the money. $400 from Direct harley parts.

Believe it or not but those temps are perfectly normal and your engine is actually designed to run that way. Spending all that money on a different cooler and oil pan may lower the temps a few degrees but in the end there is no real advantage and you will be left with a lighter wallet. Think about this for a minute. H-D is cranking out almost 300,000 bikes a year. A majority of them stay bone stock except for maybe and air cleaner and pipes and they run for tens of thousands of miles without issue.
Of course reading these fourms you would thing the sides of the roads were littered with twin cams with melted engines becuase you didn't spend a bunch of money on unnecessary accessoried to make your engine run cooler.
Ride the bike the way it is and spend that hard earned money on more important things like chrome.

Coming back from Sturgis in 2011 we were runing the bikes 70-75mph in 108* temps (I live in Las Vegas) on Interstate 15. The bike did quite well, no issues, however after that I installed Harley's Premium oil cooler and cutted the "CAT"...I feel much better about it all now. The winter mods I'll be doing will insure the bike will run even cooler.

If you already have a stock HD oil cooler why not give this a try it worked for me.
