I'm with you, man. Except not necessarily stock... Shiny paint and chrome never go out of style, it's a timeless combination. These bikes are yesterday's OC Choppers, the flav de jour. Great eye candy, though.

I agree that most of these show bikes are not too practical. But from those custom extreme bikes come trends and parts that may be a little more practical.
So the extreme builders can have impact on the less extreme, but custom market.
I would never run a +26" front wheel bike, but some of them are nice to look at.
This is also keeping some custom shops alive as well since the chopper is not as popular as it was a few years ago.

I also picked up a new part for my bike. An RC Airstrike air cleaner that matches my wheels.......
