Been working night shift for the last month. Finally got a night off. Sitting in the garage with a few coldies at 3 am.... not feeling so bad about it after reading this post.

I definitely did that last night. I pulled the bike into the shed after the ride home from the dealer (brand new) and just had to pull up a paint bucket and have a seat and just admire...and drink beer. My plan was to keep my bike in the house this winter, but that was my Softail. With the Glide, I'm not sure I can get it through the door. Time to move!

This is definitely the "thread of the month"!!! It really hit home for me about a month ago when I was recovering from surgery (I've mentioned this before - not motorcyle related) and for the two weeks my surgeon told me not to lift anything weighing more than a gallon of milk and to stay off the Road Glide for another week on top of that, I spent a lot, I mean A LOT of time in the garage...staring, cleaning, polishing, rearranging the tool boxes, cleaning the tools, sweeping, etc...everything I could think of to do, just to be close to the RG...getting back on the bike was a major motivator for me.

Put in a set of french doors! 2 x 34" equals 68" wide opening, you could drive a golf cart inside!
Or one of them new smart cars!

I'm thinkin if we are on this forum ~ we are probably not so secret admirers of our garages/sharks.... Do this frequently ~ not as luxurious as some of the other garages I've seen but am workin on it. Ridin here is year round and honestly the desire to ride frequently surpasses the desire to hang out ~ but I frequent the garage quite a bit ~ Enjoy these moments ~ A road glide is more affordable than any woman I have ever been with...
