How many "accesories" can be added ??
Wondering how many accessories you can add before the power draw becomes more than the charging system can handle. At current time, I have the saddle bag lights and a new (used) tour pack. Found out my battery was not holding charge, thought it might have been because of power draw, still not sure tho, so anyone know? and how do I check? I have a habit of leaving the switch in the ignition position when filling the gas tank so I can watch the fuel guage, it drains the battery a bit because the lights are on, anyway can I rewire the tank guage to a switch maybe?

With an 07, you can handle a lot more than what you have so far. When it comes to extra lights, remember LEDs draw less current.

As your signature states '07 RG.
If the battery is the original battery, the problem is the battery.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing...but no tellin' how old the battery is, no sticker any where. I asked in another thread about a replacement light set for the tourpacks that is LED's, haven't seen any myself but it would be a good idea for some industrious business to make up a kit. I plan on adding some LED lower fork fog type lights like I did on my 1300R honda, I covered the wires with tubing and it looked good, gotta figure where to add the wires...maybe to the accy. switch?

try Custom Dynamics for the lights. they have a large selection. I just bought turn signals from them and in their catalog, they have an assortment of tour pack setups.....try customdynamics.com..
