I've always worried about expansion when bonding glass to metal.. Plus after seeing 3 sets of Bad Dad bags & 2 rear fender covers I've decided their glass work is some of the poorest I've seen. Glad your project worked out. Give updates after its been on awhile!

I'm also concerned about this. After researching adhesive options I went with the Evercoat 815 which BadDad sells and recommends. Hopefully it will stand up to the changes in temperature over time.

Agreed. I have Top Shop bags and their fiberglass is perfection compared to BadDad.

Cypress, nice work you've done there... I was just about to hit the buy button on those BadDad Bags.. You gotta pic of those Top Shop bags you mentioned?
Here are a couple of pictures of TopShop bags before paint. These are my stock lids. The hardware transferred from my stock bags perfectly. The second pic shows the carpeted inside with the false door.
