I've always worried about expansion when bonding glass to metal.. Plus after seeing 3 sets of Bad Dad bags & 2 rear fender covers I've decided their glass work is some of the poorest I've seen. Glad your project worked out. Give updates after its been on awhile!

I'm also concerned about this. After researching adhesive options I went with the Evercoat 815 which BadDad sells and recommends. Hopefully it will stand up to the changes in temperature over time.

Agreed. I have Top Shop bags and their fiberglass is perfection compared to BadDad.

I've bought many sinister parts over the years........still yet to be impressed. To the point I wont buy them anymore.

I've heard of people having good luck here and there, but I never did and never personally saw anything that impressed me

My $.02, not that I know anything

Here are a couple of pictures of TopShop bags before paint. These are my stock lids. The hardware transferred from my stock bags perfectly. The second pic shows the carpeted inside with the false door.
