Have noticed today an annoying rattle coming from my v&h slip on muffler , everything seems tight (broke one bolt off already!) have not pulled the baffle out and I'm guessing that may be the issue? If I push down on the rear mount bracket near the rubber spacer it does quiet it? (Where I snapped the bolt off!) , any input, Thanks in advance
Rubber spacer seems to be in position (same as other side no rattle) , I have read somewhere that crimping the bracket that holds the spacer may help, might try that tomorrow, after getting the broken bolt out of the pipe
I have the V&H ovals as well. I too had the exhaust rattle so i checked around and noticed that everything was tight but the clamp on the right side. Tightened it up and was good for awhile. Rattle came back so i went directly to the same clamp which this time was tight still but the pipe was moving around. Got out my air gun and tightened the living crap out of it. All is good now. Check the clamps

Will check the clamps again also, trying not to snap anymore bolts...guess I'm buying some Easyout bolt removers tomorrow anyway might as well try the air tool ..lol
