Mean City Cycles Seat Mods (What'd you have done?)
I'm looking into modifying my stock seat. I've heard good things about MCC. To those of you who have had them do work; What did you have them do? Which Mod? To What? Suggestions? What do you like and/or dislike about it?
Thanks

took a stock ultra seat and had them lower it, move me back for positioning
then they added double decker memory foam and cut a 'V' channel for tail bone relief.
The absolute hands down best 150.00 bucks Ive spent on the bike so far!
9 hours from SW2 home this summer and not even a hint of butt burn.

I have a 2012 RGC seat. It has double memory foam in the drivers section. And the passenger section was cut down.

Sidekick H.D. Seat ,.... added Memory Foam and a Gel-Pad.
Allen took an Ironing Board of a Stock H.D. Sidekick Seat, and made it a Comfy Sit.
Think it was around $250.00
Pics in the thread above.

Has my 04 stick seat done by MCC. Best mod so far. Had two inches of memory foam added and my riding position pushed back 1inch and down 1inch. Also had the passenger seat done with memory foam and widened. Wife loves it. Just remember the seat is like a good quality boot it needs to be broken in. Don't expect the seat to be awesome out of the box.

I had the memory foam mod done front and back and the front narrowed. Used it 3 times and went and bought a new seat.

Had it lowered and narrowed in front and 1 inch of memory foam. Had the position moved forward by 1inch. Had 1inch of memory foam fitted to the passenger seat. I must add that the mods were based on their recommendations.
It's going back. Wife loves the seat, but they cut the foam from the front end of the seat and my thighs are sitting on a thin layer of foam.
No one bats 1000. I called and was told to give it a 1000 miles or so and if I was still unhappy to bring it back. No mention was made of extra cost, so we'll see. I have about 800 miles on it so far.

I had the memory foam with gel pad and while it extends your ride time, you will get but burn after 2 hours in the saddle. I now ride Russell Day Long and it is a great improvement over MCC mod.

What did you have them do? What cover did you go with? Do you have a review thread somewhere?
Thanks
