Did you keep the Dun-Flop on up front? I want to go the same route on rear first and I wouldn't expect a problem when both are radial but would appreciate confirmation that mix'n'match on brands is okay.

Based on the comments I have heard from those who have put on the Commander II's, I'm having a set put on for the 2013 riding season.

Heard of a lot of people mixing and matching, putting the rear on first with no problems. I guess most peoples front lasts a lot longer then the rear but mine seem both to wear at about the same rate. I have 36k on the clock and am on my third set of Dunlops. Decent mileage and performance, especially fresh out of the box, but want to try the Commander II. Was going to on this last change but got riding and painted myself in a corner and had to change them out right before a trip. I'll no doubt need another set before SWIII though and plan to make that trip on Michelins.
and with a set of these....

Put mine on in Aug. I have 8,000 on them now and can't tell any wear at all. They feel very good in the rain too which was a major concern for me as it rains here alot.
Like the OP I am very happy with them so far.
