Default Does the Ultra have an amp???
Just curious if the Ultra has an amp to run the four speakers or are the powered by the head unit. If it does when is it located??

No amp, its only powered by the head unit.

The Ultra does not have an amp but the SE Ultra does.

Buddy of mine put those J&M speakers in his and no amp and it's one hell of an improvement... no distortion! I'm doing that soon! I don't really need to be super loud because it's a motorcycle and not a DJ! LOL

I have the Biketronics Titan II's running off of a Sony head unit and it sounds really good. These speakers are going into the new RG right away. Might do an amp later when I do more audio upgrades. The new Hawg Wired amp has my interest.
