Legion and Riders member here in CA. Nice way to participate in organized rides and events. Lots of great people in the Legion who are community and veteran minded.

Been a Legion member for years and I am a member of the Legion Riders for the past 8 years. The Legion Riders are a great group of people and all the activities and rides are to benefit the American Veteran and active Military and their Families. The Patriot Guard started from ALR's and even though you don't have to be a member of the ALR to belong to the PG you should be aware that the PG was founded by the American Legion Riders.

That is very true. A lot of people mistakenly think they started on their own. A lot of the traditions of the PG originated from the ALR at Post 136 in Mulvane, Ks.
