Ear Plugs
You are damaging your hearing PERMANENTLY by riding with out ear plugs. There are many studies to support this statement. Let me ask this:
When you ride how often do you use ear plugs?
A. Always
B. Only on longer rides
C. Never

Before I got into touring models I used ear plugs for wind noise but The RGU eliminates that. I may need hearing protection from the stereo!

Never, My hearing is near gone along time ago. I have worked around machanery & such all my life, but years ago a friend fired a .357 mag with hot reloads right beside me unepectedly. Brought me to my knee how bad my ears hurt. Sure wish I had ear plugs in that day.

no plugs
My half helmet is a Bell Drifter with snap on ear flaps. On long hwy runs I use the flaps for the wind noise. Local rides with lower speed/ time, no flaps. Sometimes in the cold or wet i use my 3/4 helmet.

My newest and best ear plugs I have tried. They block all the unwanted noise and let all the enjoyable noise through in stereo

These are more comfortable for me than any regular ear plugs I have tried and they do come with numerous size tips to try. Well worth the money if you like to listen to your tunes using Ear Buds.

All the time for me, except on very short runs into town. On the freeway they are a definite necessity for me!

On my RGU I don't feel I need them. My ears aren't ringing after a ride short or long. My road glide is the only bike I have with good wind protection. The rest of the bikes I ride It's full face helmet and ear plugs. Wind noise and bugs in the face drives me insane.
