Default Seat question
Just traded up to a 13 RG from my 05 Deluxe. Now trying to get the fit right. I am 5'6 female. I ordered a custom c and c solo. I would like it lower and more tapered. Should I look for a shop here in the north Texas area that can modify it or start over? Any suggestions would be appreciated

I'd start with a call to Chuck or Chuy first (C & C). Tell them your druthers and they might be willing to mod it more to your desires. Worst they can say is no. Also, check with meancitycycles. He (Badx) is a forum member, and does great work with existing seats.

Yes, Chuck and Dave were great to deal with. Their workmanship is super as well. I will give them a call tomorrow.

Another option is Danny Gray, but I have heard great things about C&C and their customer service.

A RK (Road King) or a RG (Road Glide)?

Ultimate seats are great seats and are very similar to the mustang. I had a mustang on my first HD and now have the Ultimate solo on my Road Glide... I love it!ImageUploadedByMO Free1352777318.115017.jpg

as suggested above give them a call as they will more than likely fix you up, great guys to deal with.
I have a C&C solo w/backrest, awesome seat just give it a couple of thousand miles to break in.

I think the Ultimate sits higher compared to the c&c & being 5'-6" that's an issue.

My wife is 5'-5", I had to lower the back of her bike & switch bars as she NEEDED a Mustang w/backrest
