Looking for a solid 17" Chrome Wheel
I'm going to install a 19" mirror chrome agitator on the front but HD only make the rear in 18 but I don't really want to go bigger in the back. I would like to go with a 17" solid chrome wheel. Does anyone make one for the 180 tire in 17"?
Thanks
Rn

Let me know I'm curious, I'd swap out the rear for same size in a chrome smoothie rim as well if found in the factory size

You can find them but they're not all that much cheaper than a custom wheel. HogPro makes one for around $1100 and Yaffe has one for about $800. I considered going that route but when I saw the prices I just went with the matched wheel.

Another option would be doing an exchange with Willy Shiny ... it won't be solid but at least it'd be chrome. (and cheaper!)

the newer fatboy rear wheels uses the same size wheel bearing as the RG wheel and is a 17 inch wheel so there is no reason it will not fit a RG. I would consider RC Components Smoothie, it is flat and almonst looks like a mirror, that wheel looks great as a rear wheel application, it almost looks see thru sometimes, I have a co worker that has them on his bike, but the more affordable route will definately be the fat boy wheel

Thanks, I'm going that route, it's lowered by 1 inch and I have extended bags so the fat boy wheel will be fine.
Thanks for the info.

For a 180 tire an 18x5.5 is what you want. For a 200 tire a 17x6.25 is what you want. What year is your bike? I know you emailed me and I already responded, just trying to get info to everyone here on the forums as well.

That fat boy wheel is a good option for if you ever run into trouble on the road you will always be able to find a replacement rear tire as the local dealer will have the tire in stock
