road rash
I got a little to agressive in the twistys this weekend and this was the result. scraped the boards plenty of times but this was the first for the mounting bracket got the pipe too!! had to get it out of my system cant be doing this in the spring with my new stretched bags

Used to replace myboards regularly on my old Road King when I lived in the mountains. Never hit my exhaust though.
Aint it fun!!!!

i always scrape my boards and mounts. luckily i dont have a crossover exhaust that drags!

Nice, but watch scrubbing the hard parts, like the board mounts. Get too aggressive with it and you'll lift a wheel, and both you and the bike will have road rash...

Good point. Especially if you have installed the floor board spacer kit. I drug my left mounting bracket bad in a left hander and never touched my floorboard. Beware and be careful!
