I'm a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast and like it or not, Honda makes a great motorcycle. Would I buy one? Not a chance. I remember (historically) Pearl Harbor.

It looks way better than the standard Goldwing. I would not mind taking one for a spin (for research purposes only). I cannot see myself swapping the RG for one.

I like it. Wouldn't get rid of the Hog but I would add it to the collection

There used to be a piped Valk around Bangor.
That one sounded like an Indy car when he come on to it.

I like it. Nothing wrong with Honda's. Had a bunch of Honda motorcycles, have a CR-V and a Ridgeline. All were and are flawlessly reliable. Massive technology in that company across the divisions.

And the stuff has about as much soul as a plastic bag.
Highly functional, but just doesnt speak to me like a Harley or a GTO or
an old Chevy p/u does when you get in or climb on.

I admit that Honda makes great engines but it will never be a Harley. I might feel different once HD goes water cooled but at this stage in the game there's no comparison. Also, unless Honda has made some major changes it won't handle like a Harley. Gold wings are nice for going down the highway but they're crap on the twisties.

A couple of years ago when I hung out on the Big Dog Forums, Honda came out with the Fury. Everyone was talking about how Honda was going after the custom bike market. I've see 2 Fury's in 2 years.

Bottom line (for me), Harley people are Harley people and we're not going to buy a Honda or Victory, or Yamaharley.
