Went for a little scenic ride, about 100 miles, including a quick stop at the local dealer. Bought a few things and got a 15% discount for being a vet. Good on them for supporting veterans.

I redeployed from Afghanistan on the 10th, and was able to take a ride on my baby on Veteran's Day! My first ride in 8 months. Epic

Our high for the day was about 27*, wind gusting to 30mph. I didn't even go outside let alone go for a ride.

Not exactly on Veteran's Day, but the week before Nutter Mutter and I joined a group that rode to Camp Pendleton to honor and donate to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Had lunch with some of those in the hospital there and learned more about their treatment and care.

Just went for a kind of short ride, no more than 100 miles. Spent more time talking to folks about bikes more than riding, but some days just work out like that.
