A Buddy and I rode 250 miles. Stopped for a couple of refreshments and wings for lunch. Ran into two Vietnam Vets, said Thank you,Happy Veterans
Day,bought them both a couple of drinks and enjoyed good conversation with them.
People always love making conversation with bikers. I believe that those people wish they too could enjoy the freedom that only a bike can give.

Being as we had just got 19 inches of snow, I shoveled a path to my bike building, removed the snow from the entry area, unlocked the door and dead bolt, turned on the lights, made sure the overhead heater was keeping the room at the proper temp, sat on it, pulled the speedo/tach cluster, loosened up the allenhead screws on the bars, rolled the bars back about an inch, buttoned it all back up, made necessary adjustments on the controls and mirrors, turned off the lights, locked the door and went to my room to sulk.
That is how I spent my day.

Part of the Albany NY Veterans Day Parade with the PGR. Straight down the middle of Central Avenue for about 3 miles. Flag bikes galore. We were the very last group in the parade. Something to do with the noise level I guess. The Mayor did make a point to stop by our group after the parade and say you guys did an incredible job (of making noise hehehe).
It was in the upper 60's and sunny. Great day.
Only downside is the bike got hot with the stop and go and I found out that Harley's latest ECM update did not fix my pinging issue when the motor gets hot.

Rode from Prescott down to Phoenix to watch the Veteran's Day parade then enjoyed the ride back by taking the long way up through Wickenburg.

I was going to ride my bike over to Yakima for the Veterans Day parade but it was a KOOL 24* outside when I got up. My high for Sunday was 34* so I was glad I decided to stay home. Got a real KOOL phone call from my son that day thanking me for being a veteran. He is going to colledge right now using benifits from me for being 100% disabled. It was just a touching thing for him to call me like that. A lot of years he has just forgotten. But then he called me last week to tell me I was going to be a Grandpa in 9 months too.

Thanks gents; it's great to be home again. Unfortunately, it's at the end of the riding season here. C'est la Vie. Guess I'll be swapping my motorcycle boots for my snowboard boots for the next few months!
