I am 5'5" and use the HD reduced reach seat I got on ebay cheap...just fyi

@ Coiln is your wife on a RG? When you say you lowered it are you talking about shorter shocks? I have the RG custom.

No the wife is not on a RG, she is on a 1200 custom.

Roughly 1 inch difference in stock seat heights BUT once she added the Mustang seat she was up over the RG height.
Seating position & bars make a huge difference in comfort.

there are lowering kits for the tour bikes that use the same shock but change the angle, good for a 1" drop anything lower I would do shocks.

Im pretty sure mean city cycles do a good job on the seats but I would rather talk to a real person up front and tell me what my actual needs are instead of filling out a worksheet and wasting most of my money on shipping costs.
