15" Windsplitter
Looking for comments/opinions/reviews on anyone who replaced the stock RGU shield with this one.

It sucks. Worst WS, by a long shot, I've run on any motorcycle.
Go Windvest, Madstad, Cee Baileys, baggershield, Klockwerks, any number of others, but don't waste your money on that thing!

Hadn't tried the 15(wasn't out yet), but had the 12. Shield looked awesome, but didn't do good for wind management.

If its on a custom and you are 5'8" or less, maybe it would be acceptable. There are so many other shields which are better I'd advise against it especially if near 6' or more and riding an Ultra.
Having said that, someone out there likely has one and is pleased with it.

Thank you for the responses. I'm 6'2, and once you guys called the stock shield a toe nail I can't get that out of my head.
I've been looking into the suggested companies and so far like the Cee Baileys and baggershield. Just need to decide on the height. Going more for touring but wanted a contoured look also, not a toe nail...

Windsplitter did nothing for me, well I guess it looked different.

Had the chance to demo the windshield today, I did not even got off my block and knew it was a mistake. It was not a windy day, coverage was horrible, it felt like I went from stock to a very short shield, it also was all over the place. Even pulsing on my shoulders. Not sure if this makes seance but it was crazy. Can't wait to drop it off.

i use the 15'' windsplitter as my winter shield. it blocks more wind to the face than the 12'' windsplitter that i normally use. with either shield, i do still get some air in the face, but it isn't hard wind, or buffeting. the hard wind is deflected up over my head.
but, i'm short. 5'4'', so that probably explains why it works for me, and not someone who is 6'2''
