Im the opposite,.. I love my bike because its setup for me,.. but my wifes 09' CVO is just so much more fun to ride. If it was setup with bars and seat for me,.. I'd be riding the CVOQT all the time

I took my new Ultra out for a pre delivery demo ride yesterday. Still gonna be a week or two before I pick it up. I have to say I had more fun riding it than I do my current Street Glide. Handling is leaps and bounds above the SG on top of the comfort. And even done up for touring the ultra still has hotrod look. Will be even better when i add my own bird and pieces.

I am at a point in my life where I still like the hotrod look but want more comfort. The ultra its the best of both worlds.

Oh and you can do one better than the iPod interface by adding a Sony digital media receiver with the Tune Tray.

Any info on that setup? Can you still use the handlebar controls with it?

I thought it was the sparkely bling that kept you off

Nothing wrong liking the new bike over the CVO. I didn't pick mine out because of the motor (i have no idea what CVO even means) i just like how it looked and felt when I got on it.

What year was the CVO? Do I understand correctly that HD changed the frame on the touring bikes after the 09 or 10 model year. If they did, maybe that is some of what you are noticing.
If not, then its just "the new smell" that you're getting. The great thing is, that "new smell" hasn't worn off of mine yet at 6400 miles
