I don't think you'll find too many people, engine builders or otherwise, that can tell you they've had problems with their stock oil pump or cam plate. You can find some that have had oil pumps and cam plates chewed up from other parts, cam needle bearings, lifter roller bearings, chain tensioner pieces etc, passing through them, but few have problems with the pumps or other components by themselves.
Oh yes, they make lifters, but so does everyone else, none of which have come up with a real fix for valvetrain noise.
Nothing against them, they make nice parts, just no reason for me to buy them.
