new apes installing need help

I recently installed new road six customs ape hangers in my 2011 rgu. I am re installing switch housing and they seem to still move after i tighten them down.Also seems if i dont glue clutch side grip it will move also.Am i doing something wrong????

I can't think of anything you did wrong. May be the bars are tapered down smaller than 1". That would cause the problem and would be a manufacturer mistake.

On some of the grips, the ends go inside the cutout for the switch housings, did you verify this.....?

yes ther are cut outs so i installed like the directions and still can turn the controls after tight. They are right bars for my glide .I am at a loss

Not sure this helps but maybe call the bar manufacturer & ask what gives?
