Great reviews on this sheild, and I do have a W/V 12 in Gunsmoke and love it!
I slouch when I ride and am adding 16 inch apes , replacing my 10's.
Is them 10's on your bike?
This mite be a sheild to buy, if it performs as well as my w/v.
from what I've read in all 11 pages, it performs as well if not better, as a w/.v.
will keep checkn back.

Default I gave my 13" LRS Light Tint a test

Believe it or not we made it to 60* today. All the snow is melted and there is sand in the intersections so I headed out for a ride on the Interstate. The bike loves the cool air so off I went running through the gears wearing my 3/4 helmet. Jamming down the Interstate at 75+ my helmet made no noise from any buffeting effect so I lifted the shield up completely and had no issues. I ran it up to 85+ and still no ill effects. Then I retracted my built in sun shade and there was no problem with air in the eyes. When I got within a mile of home I stopped at one of the interchanges removed my helmet, no hat or skull cap, slammed it in gear and off I went all the way to 80. All I got was nice clean air on top of my head, nothing in my face nor my eyes. I had no issues seeing over the shield and I was glad I got a light tint. I had to stick my head way out to the side to get any forceful air. I think a passenger will be happy with it.

I like it and its going to be a keeper.

Put on the 12 inch Mako, and took a long ride. Night and day difference to the Windsplitter. Stereo is loud and clear at 70 mph. No sunglass shake or wind buffeting on my ears. Fit and finish is great. Medium tint was darker than I expected, but it looks great.ImageUploadedByMO Free1351461762.035805.jpg

Default outlaw bulldog,,,,,,your tourpack???

from the first picture of your roadglide, side view, it looks like your tourpack resembles the front end of some sort of a snowmobile. at least now you can tell what your bike would look like if you had a tourpack on it. just teasin' man. couldn't help it.

Default question on tint of mako

hey nightglide, is the tint of your long ride mako the dark gray or the medium? ups is delivering my medium gray 13" mako tomorrow, and i'm curious. it's going on my new '13 roadglide ultra. it's supposed to be the same medium bronze/gray tint as what i had on my 08 streetglide and yours looks much darker. the way a shield functions is important, but so is the aesthetics, or how it looks. lemme know please, if even by i.m. thanks, jim in oklahoma.

Default 11inch Mako

Anyone get an 11 inch Mako yet? I am 5-11 on a stock 2013 RGU but I slouch while riding. See several customers over 6 foot happy with the 12 and 13. If anyone has the 11 I would like to hear their review and see pictures if available.
