Anyone try the 13" Wind Vest?? Kinda torn between the 14" on my Custom which has an Ultra seat. Wife is 5'8". She's gonna need her comfort.

I didn't go through the whole thread as I didn't see it in the first post. My stock 2011 SERGU shield measures 12 5/8" from the ledge to the top of the shield. Running the front of the shield from top to bottom is 16"

On my 2012 FLTRU, 16" Cee Bailey TRSSC Euro measures 12.5" from the ledge.

I'm 6'2 and I see easily over the windshield. Coverage is close to my stock 16" shield. Just a little bit of air on my brow at highway speeds (60-70). Very nice.

I'm thinking I could have gotten away with a dark shield (instead of smoked). Why?

1. The leveled height of the shield is at the bottom of my chin (down from the stock being leveled at my mouth).
2. Because the contour of the shield distorts images when looking through it, I really don't look through it. For both of these reasons I could have gotten a dark shield.

Info on my bike: Stock air shocks, rear tire is a 200/55 - 17, front is a 120/70 - 21

Hey guys and gals,
Picked up my new RG Custom Saturday with the 12 HD windsplitter in place. The 100 mile ride home was torture. I need something that will replace this one, preferably dark tint and recurve. I'm 5'9 with 34inch sleeves, and this isnt gonna work. The wind blast and turbulence is unbearable above 45 mph. Any help is appreciated.

Congrats, bought one back in November. Windshield Madstad and Cee Bailey have a lot of good reviews but so does Windvest and similar companies.
