Score!!!!
Been watching CL and ebay for a tour pack. I had a blue and pewter one from an 09 with the backrest and rack, but it was just to nice to paint IMO. So I sold it and started looking for either a black one or one at a decent price that I could paint.
Today it payed off! Found it on CL, its off of an 07 black EGC that was in an accident so the pack was broken. He had it fixed and if it wasnt for the lack of paint on the repairs, you couldnt tell there was ever anything wrong with it. It was missing one latch, I have one, and the lock, I also have one.
80 bucks! REALLY HAPPY!!

You didn't buy it ...you stole it! Patience is a friend to your wallet when you're looking for a specialty item like that. That's better than a Black Friday find!

Perfect find. Best way to go, I'd say. I can't see any evidence of a repair from the photos. was it cracked, or just scuffed up with snapped off hardware?

Maybe you can't buy happiness but you can buy a motorcycle and that's pretty darn close.

The left rear corner was broken off along with the right rear corner of the lid. If you look close you can see the "dullness" of the primer on the 2 repairs, and the pinstripe on the left lower just goes away. Dont know who fixed it, but they know what there doing.
