Tool belt and hard hat is just for a side job....you know that, same reason you have your sailor outfit
70 miles, that's a hell of a stones throw, even for a big boy like you
But seriously, send the movie back so they quit calling and looking for you
Okay now, back on track.........looks like there may be a decent amount of interest in a trip so I will start taking a little more of a serious look into we're we maybe able to get a decent rate on rooms and a few day trip options for rides

Count me as interested - I don't give a rodent's posterior about the roads, I just want to sit back and enjoy the banter between GoneBlack and RichieRich in person!

Stray Mutt, he is really quite boring on his medication. Hardly more than a mild asshole. We still gotta run Ortega and get that drink at Hell's Kitchen next year.

Depending on the dates, I'm interested. I love Jamestown, Yosemite, Lassen, Tahoe, etc... I'm even up for some camping if others are interested.

I've been through many of those areas in mid-late june. There's always snow in Lassen and the mountains above Tahoe are usually pretty white. Jamestown should be fine and Yosemite is usually good. Like you said, it's really up to old man winter...... Just a thought, maybe it can be planned around The Redwood Run.

The cold is not really in issue, for me anyway. As long as the roads up there are open, once they reopen we should be all good if there's some interest in planning around the redwood run, that's a possibility. I know we don't want to get to close to SW for those that need to try and get the time off work to attend both

End of May is usually pretty safe for the snow to be gone and still not to hot, not that either the cold or heat would stop me.... just would need more cold beer if it is hot and that is not a bad thing
