Im with 1/1. We are attached to the 7th right now. (Long story) Fine unit. You must have been busy as hell DOC in 69-70. My DOCs are harder than some of my Marines.

Retired tired and trying out this new adventure called civilian jackassery, and praying that I don't kill these new punk civilian kids who think they are tough and trousers hanging to their feet... I actually saw a marine in woodlands getting gas out in town, he knew he was wrong when I approached him, I "calmly" asked "hey marine, whats wrong with the picture?!" he goes oh shit, pulls out his cover and puts in on his head. I shook my head but it made me smile and kind of happy, because that's the little basic stupid Marine jackassery stuff that is our "good stress" and a moto knife hand and a you know better than this speech and off we went. To cary out our own plan of the day. SEMPER FI.....now get out of my face and....GET SOME

well just another old salt here. 93-01 played in a lot of sand and dirt. 1st Battalion 2d Marines, then to 1/6 then to Chemical Biological Incident Response Force.
