Several years ago I read a Consumer Reports writeup on car waxes/polishes. In their opinion, the #1 product was BLACK MAGIC LIQUID WAX. Went to buy some but couldn't find it anywhere. 6-12 months later I was in a store and there it was. Tried it. WOW !!! Even did side by side comparisons with a couple of other products I had in the garage. Black Magic put the others to shame. It takes a little more rubbing to get off but it is worth the effort.
Maybe 12-18 months ago went to buy more. Found out it was discontinued. Figures !!! Last time I looked you could still find it on Flea Bay and other sites--but the wax sold for about $8 or $9 and they wanted that much or more in shipping.
Found several bottles at Pep Boys, bought all they had. Once in a while I am back in Pep Boys and they must have a secret supply of Black Magic because every time I visit they have 2, and only 2, on the shelf. I would imagine if you looked long and hard enough you might find it some other places but I now have a lifetime supply (as I am 65 that really isn't so much).
So, I haven't used most of the products mentioned in this thread--mostly because I got started on the Black Magic and am so completely satisfied with the very deep and relatively long lasting shine that I have no reason to try anything else as long as I have the Black Magic.

The following is a true story:
I bought a BLACK 2002 Z06 Corvette in 2005 and It was a mess! The car was covered in swirl marks, etc. I applied Zaino's products to the car almost immediately. I go to a "Corvette Only" car show in Orlando a couple months later and pull in next to a guy with an amazing custom paint job. He comments on my cars paint and I tell him its a factory paint job with Zaino products. He has never heard of Zaino at this point. As the day progresses all he hears are people talking about my cars paint! After several coats of their products the car almost takes on a wet look... As if it had a layer of polyurethane poured over it. Seeing is believing!

I tried some "blackfire wet diamond sealant". It is very slick and had a good shine. I do not know about the durability yet, but it creates a much slicker finish that what I have been using. Here is a link.
