I do not want the big clunky surface mount type. sorry RGU owners. No offense intended. Like the look of the RGC rear fender and would like to keep it that way. Other than getting rid of the red lenses and replacing with smoked lenses, but that could be another thread. any help would be appreciated.
So are they releasing anything for the FLTRX ?? It's been a year of talking.

Put mine on 2 weeks ago. Took 5 minutes. My buddy said that he could pick me out of a group of 20 bikes. That's a good review in my book.

Actually it's been a year and 3 weeks!

I called them today.

They're still talking, but for those folks that haven't seen their plan, a picture of their new FLTRX or FLHX taillight is on their Facebook page. This is not exactly what I was hoping for, higher in a cager's line of sight would have been preferred, but it will help.

They couldn't/wouldn't say what was holding up production or even a wag at a release date. I even ask if a year away was within reason, but no commitment.

Personally I think I may develop something on my own. Won't be ready for production for a year either, but then I only want one anyways.

I bought a Bal-1 for wife's '98 Dyna. Now I want one for my '08 Road Glide. Any "black Friday" sales going on?

I bought mine because I couldn't stop looking at one when riding in a group. I love it.

Great bright light with all the strobe effects. I can already see that cars behind me are keeping their distance from me, which in jacksonville, ( where people just drive like maniacs) is a blessing.
Where are the pics?

Black Friday or not, transaction done. BAL-1 is now mine on the Road Glide.

11 bikes on Saturday ride. Wife led on her '98 Dyna, donning her new BAL-1. I followed at the tail, donning my new BAL-1. I could clearly see her tail light ten bikes ahead. Then when she hit the brakes, it was clearly noticeable all the way back. And mine did the job keeping cars at a distance from my rear.

Had concern that riders behind would complain "too bright." So brought the magnet program reset along. No complaints - only adoration.

Cardo Scala G9 communication between my and her bike. Need to set the communication dials better. Pandora via Bluetooth comes is clear.
