good place to buy a service manual?
I recently purchased a 2012 BBP RGC, I've been looking in a few places online but without trial and error and throwing money away on possible crappy manuals, i was hoping to get other folks thoughts on this. Thanks for your time and since the snow has starred to fall here in Michigan I'm in no hurry yet.

Is the Harley service manual available? That would be your best bet. It's more expensive, but worth it IMO.

PC Pain (Jon Horton) @ Horny Toad Harley Davidson. 254-743-7200. Tell him the RoadGlides sent you. Talk to Jon. He'll give you a discount like he does everyone on the forum. He's typically off on Monday's and Tuesday's. I just bought a friend the $60 OEM service manual from him for $48.

Dont waste your money on aftermarket manuals. Go with the factory manual. About $60ish from a dealer or if youre in no hurry wait for a local dealer to have a sales event and get it at a discount

Definetly get the OEM HD manual, well worth the money.

OEM Service Manual for sure - just consider it a relatively cheap accessory - in fact, this one pays for itself!

I've had the off-brand manuals and they're pretty worthless. And years of experience has taught me that a book is much handier than a digital version.

I took my manual and heated the binder up and peeled it off. Punched holes in the pages and put it in a notebook. Now it lies flat and it I want to pull out individual pages, I can. Works well for me.
